"My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"

Mark 15:34

There is no road lonelier than the one Jesus walked to Calvary.

When Jesus cried, "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?" He was bearing the weight of our sin. For a moment that we cannot fully comprehend, the Son of God experienced the separation that our sin deserved so that we could experience the fellowship with God that we never could earn.

Many people today are traveling their own lonesome road. They are hurting, discouraged, lonely, and wondering if anyone cares. You may pass them every day at the truck stop, in the grocery store, at church, or even in your own neighborhood. Behind many smiles are broken hearts that desperately need a touch from the Lord Jesus Christ.

That is why Lonesome Road Ministries continues to do what God has called us to do. Whether through our radio programs, television broadcasts, podcasts, conferences, revivals, chaplain ministry, or personal conversations, our mission remains the same: Sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with whosoever, wherever, whenever, and however.

Our recent revival reminded us that God is still changing lives. Souls are still searching. Families are still hurting. Hearts are still being healed. The harvest is still plentiful, and there is still work to do.

As we move into September, let us never lose sight of our purpose. It is not about building a ministry, promoting a personality, or gaining recognition.

It's all about Jesus.

Jesus is still the Answer for the lonely.

Jesus is still the Hope for the hopeless.

Jesus is still the Savior for the lost.

Jesus is still the only way to the Father.

This is why we are stepping up to new levels here at Lonesome Road Ministries. We have started a 24 hr Prayer line for whosoever is out there. We are also currently working on Gospel tracts for those on the road. You can find our 24 Hr Phone Number in the Ole Mail Bag section. We are officially partnering with Faith Channel!!! So you can find Lonesome Road Ministries Church on the Road Programs on Roku, Fire Stick, and Apple TV on the Faith Channel App. It’s free, and you just have to download the app and sign up one time to get our podcast, Videos, and so much more…. Thank you for praying for Lonesome Road Ministries and for standing with us as faithful partners. Your prayers, encouragement, and financial support allow us to continue taking the Gospel down the highways and byways to those who may never walk through the doors of a church.

Let's continue pointing people to the cross, where Jesus walked the loneliest road so no one would ever have to walk alone again.

May God richly bless you as together we keep traveling The Lonesome Road—always making it all about Jesus.
