As I sit down to write this month's newsletter, I can't help but think about the children of Israel as they journeyed
through the desert. The desert was a place of testing, but it was also a place where they learned to trust God. They discovered that even when there wasn't enough water, God was their Provider. When there wasn't enough food, God sent manna from heaven. The desert became the place where their faith was strengthened.

Sometimes God allows us to walk through our own deserts. Many of you know that I have been dealing with a heart condition. I appreciate every prayer, every phone call, every card, and every encouraging word. Your kindness has reminded me that we are all part of the Body of Christ, carrying one another's burdens.
While I continue to seek wisdom from my doctors, my faith has never been stronger. I know that God is still on the
throne. He has directed every mile of this ministry since its beginning, and I have no intention of slowing down until He says it's time. As long as He gives me strength, I will continue sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ wherever He opens the door.
The desert is never the destination. It is the place where God teaches us to depend upon Him. What a tremendous blessing the past several weeks have been! Our 3-Fold Cord Conference was an incredible success.
God powerfully met with us through the preaching, the music, the fellowship, and the testimonies. Lives were
encouraged, hearts were refreshed, and we witnessed once again what God can do when His people gather together.
Then came our July Revival, and once again the Lord exceeded every expectation. We saw people touched by the presence of God, believers strengthened in their faith, and new opportunities opened for ministry. To everyone who attended, prayed, volunteered, and supported these meetings—thank you. You are a vital part of what God is doing through Lonesome Road Ministries. Now we are looking ahead with excited anticipation to the CD’S, podcasts, and radio programs we will be able to share with all our listeners from the conference & Revival programs we recorded for you all.
We are excited to announce another 2-Day Revival coming September 11,12 featuring Gene Higgins, who will be ministering in song along with Messages by Pastor Andy May Friday Night and Pastor Marvin McCormick Saturday. Gene has a heart for worship and a passion for pointing people to Jesus through music. We are
praying for another powerful move of God and invite you to come expecting the Lord to do great things. Watch our website, social media, and LonesomeRoadRadio.com for updates.
The road ahead may include more deserts, but I've learned something after all these years in ministry: God has never failed me yet. Every challenge has become another testimony. Every trial has become another opportunity to watch Him work.
Please continue praying for my heart condition and for the ministry. Pray that God will continue opening doors to reach truck drivers, travelers, churches, and anyone who needs to hear the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
