The Lonesome Road Program 4

Favor Is Coming To You!

Psalm 102:13

Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.

God is pouring out His favor on Lonesome Road Ministries and the Lonesome Road family! We see it in the doors He is opening, the people He is bringing together, and the opportunities He is giving us to share Jesus.

When God placed Lonesome Road Ministries on my heart, I could not see everything He had ahead. We started by sharing testimonies on cassette tapes, trusting that somebody traveling a lonely highway would hear about Jesus.

Over the years, God has continued to make a way for His Word to reach people through CDs, podcasts, radio, and television. Now He has opened another door: Church on the Road, gathering every Sunday morning at 10:00 AM! Right here at 107 N. Sycamore Street in Keenes, Illinois, God is giving us a place to come together, worship, hear His Word, pray for one another, and grow as a family. The ministry that has carried church to people on the road now has a weekly gathering where we can welcome our neighbors, friends, and fellow travelers.

I believe we are seeing the mercy and favor of God at work. He has brought us this far, and we are trusting Him with what comes next.

Along with our Sunday morning services, we are holding revivals every other month. These gatherings give us more opportunities to lift up Jesus, encourage believers, and invite those who do not know Him to experience His saving grace.

Our prayer is that people will come through these doors and find more than a seat. We want them to find a loving church family, hear the truth of God’s Word, and know that there is hope in Jesus Christ.

Psalm 102:13 says, “Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion.” Those words were spoken concerning Zion, but they remind us that God has not forgotten His people. As we look at what He is doing here, our hearts are filled with gratitude. We have prayed, planted, and trusted—and now we have new opportunities to serve.

His favor brings a responsibility: to make the most of every opportunity He gives us.

When God sends someone who needs encouragement, we want to listen. When someone needs prayer, we want to pray. When someone is searching for hope, we want to point them to Jesus. And when He opens a door for the Gospel, we want to walk through it together.

That is why this is such a special season for the whole Lonesome Road family. Whether you attend in person, listen on the road, share our messages, pray for us, or support the ministry, you are part of this work. Your faithfulness has helped us reach this moment, and we thank God for you.

Linda and I enter this Thanksgiving season thankful for what God has done and expecting Him to keep working among us. Please pray that we will follow His leading, serve people well, and keep Jesus at the center of everything we do.

Lonesome Road family, look at what the Lord is doing! His favor is upon this ministry, and we have the privilege of stepping into these open doors together.

We are stepping up to new levels here at Lonesome Road Ministries. We have started a 24 hr Prayer line for whosoever out there.

A message from one of the content creators. Lonesome Road Ministries and Channel 21 Ministry are undergoing some major digital changes. Moving lots of things around. Please bear with us, it’s going to get better. Even the Channel 21 chaplain training center and membership area are undergoing some changes. I will update you as we get things tidied up.

Thanks for your patience - Bruce Phelps
